Decent weekend. Watched the Leafs game. What a start for Nolan .. 2 goals. Too bad we only tied.
I really can't stand the fact that its March 10th, and yet its -20*C out there. That's just wrong. It always blows my mind to see dogs just kinda walking about in this cold, seemingly unaffected by the freeze. Why didn't evolution give us that kinda tolerance, huh? Oh no, instead we get the opposable thumbs and developed intelligence. No thanks, give me the blanket of warm fur and I'll be only too happy to wizz in the snow and sniff others' bum from time to time. Actually, maybe thats the secret the dogs have kept from us for so long .. if you go around sniffing peoples' bums, you'll be so distracted (and nauseated, granted) that you don't even think about the cold. I'm onto you, dogs!
My brother bought me a cool "I Love Source Code" sticker that I have stuck onto my monitor. I would post a picture of it, but Intel wants to charge me 10$ for the Windows 2000 version of their webcam software which I already have for '98. With 5$, I could probably hire a few grade 6 students to stage a re-enactment of the moon landing. For another 5$, I bet I could get them to do it backwards. "Dinknam rof pets tnaig eno, nam rof pets llams eno." I know you're thinking, "Sure, Garret, but why would you want to?" I dunno, but it seems to beat paying Intel for giving me software I already have for Windows '98. Plus, kids + astronauts + backwards talking = funny. I dare you to refute that. Bonus points if you can disprove me in formal mathematical terms.
